Different ways for ordering and payment
of the guides for residents of countries
outside of the Netherlands.

The world and indeed eco-tourism is becoming more and more international. However, international payments for relatively small amounts are still cumbersome. The security issues of e.g. payment by creditcard are improving rapidly, but the relative costs are still rather high for transactions under e.g. 50 EURO or dollars. Therefore we offer some other payment methods. These are listed below.

If you have a Dutch bank or giro account you can either use this international form (and use one of our "foreign" payment methods), or use our regular (Dutch) ordering forms.
In the latter case you can indicate in the comments box (or elsewhere on the form) whether you would like us to send you an "accept-giro" or receive by email a calculation of the total amount and our banknumber.

We will mail the guides to your foreign address only after we have received the payment.


Residents of Germany can place their orders
via the Internet site of ECEAT-Deutschland

Residents of Great Britain (or others with British bank accounts) can mail a cheque in name of ECEAT for the equivalent amount of the EURO prices to:

All others:

  • Cash payments: enclose in banknotes (NOT coins)
    the total amount of the prices listed above.

    Actually, you can enclose the equivalent in the banknotes of any regular European currency of countries that do not belong to the twelve members of the European Currency Union. (We do not accept the "old" banknotes that were used within this Currency Union before the introduction of the EURO.)

    Please, do not send us coins. Ofcourse, we are aware that not all combinations of prices will add up to an amount for which there are banknotes available in your choice of currency. In those cases we rely on your sense of "fairness".

    If the amount is slightly higher you may round it off downwards and if the amount is significantly higher than we trust that you round it off to the higher amount that in fact can be paid in banknotes.
    Sustainable tourism attracts responsible customers.
    Up to now we have not been disappointed with this policy based on trust and fairness.
  • Eurocheques:  These must indicate the amount in EUROS
  • Please, do not send us any other type of cheque!
  • We are unable to accept money transfer forms from your bank.
  • An international money order from your post office is rather expensive, and must indicate the amount in EUROS.
  • Another possiblity is the international money order from an American Express office (only for card holders)
  • Do not send us stamp coupons
